TJ Watt is an award-winning outdoor photographer from Victoria, BC. His focus is conservation photography; a field that uses photos as tools for creating environmental awareness and social change. He is also a co-founder of the Ancient Forest Alliance; a non-profit organization working to protect endangered old-growth forests and forestry jobs in BC.
His in-demand photographs of Canada’s biggest trees and biggest stumps have been featured in books, national and international news media, art galleries, museums and more. His unique portfolio contains images from many remote, hard-to-reach locations around Vancouver Island.
When not behind the camera, TJ can be found hunting for the Country’s next record-sized tree or flying through the air on his skateboard.
