Bruce Obee is a Vancouver Island writer and photographer who specializes in nature and environment. A winner of several international awards, he is a recipient of the Governor-General’s Commemorative Award for “significant contribution to compatriots, community and Canada.”
Obee’s work is published in National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, Travel & Leisure, British Columbia Magazine, and others throughout the world.
He is the author of several books, including Guardians of the Whales, Over Beautiful British Columbia, The Gulf Islands Explorer, The Pacific Rim Explorer, Coastal Wildlife of British Columbia, and Wolf: Wild Hunter of North America.
