Gary is a visual communicator using photography to present workshops in forensic imaging and in visual evidence to agencies that specialize in regulatory inspections and investigations. He has given workshops both provincially and nationally. Gary served with the Victoria Police Dept. for 28 years, specializing in forensic photography. Gary is also a photo essayist, illustrating several articles for BC Magazine and other publications. He has also produced several multimedia presentations, The Broken Circle, which dealt with police and aboriginal issues, received national recognition and was the subject of a CBC documentary.
Gary feels that photography and story telling are powerful tools to influence change in society.
