Dale Wilson

Dale Wilson was raised on a small family farm in the rural Nova Scotia village of River Hebert.  It was here that he literally and metaphorically planted his roots with an interest in natural history.  Following a fifteen-year career in the military, which he freely admits to joining for the global travel, he started a new career as a self-taught freelance photographer.

Over the past twenty years Dale’s work has appeared in global advertising campaigns, as well as many of the world’s leading magazines such as Smithsonian, Natural History, National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast, Canadian Geographic, etc.
 
Dale continues to work from his base in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and has just completed his fifth book project.
