Wildlife photographer Roberta Olenick just loves all animals, from bugs to bears. She travels throughout North America and beyond to meet and photograph them in the wild where they belong. Her images have appeared in numerous magazines including BBC Wildlife and Canadian Geographic, as well as in a variety of books, cards, calendars and as fine art prints in private collections.
Before discovering photography, Roberta obtained a Master’s degree in animal ecology from the University of British Columbia and worked as an environmental activist with Ecojustice Canada and the Earth Island Institute. She continues to donate time, images and 10% of the proceeds of all image sales to organizations dedicated to environmental protection and animal advocacy.
